New Computer!

Hi everyone, in case you have been wondering, why I haven't been posting much, it was because of my old puter. About two years ago, our older computer crashed and burned. Thankfully, a friend gave us their old computer, and we had a puter geek clean it all up for us. It was slow, and over the last two years, it became slower and slower, no matter what we did to it. We attached cleaning tools and it helped temporarily. I would have to wait for it to warm up, sometimes up to one hour, and still the puter was slow loading. So my hubby and I have been praying for a way to purchase a new one. We live on a budget, and the budget didn't have any wiggle room! Computers are a huge expense. We began looking at refurbished puters on the internet. My hubby's boss, said he had bought one from overstock dot com, and had no problems with it. So, we went there, looking to see what was availiable. I knew I needed one that was faster and had more memory. Whew! I didn't know that you had to be a puter geek, just to purchase a puter! I had to call my daughter, and ask her about the memory, etc. We finally found one that we could afford! Now, I also save using mypoints. I went through mypoints to purchase the puter. Not only did we get a great savings, but I earned enough points that I can use for a FREE gift card. We ordered the puter last Thursday, and it was shipped to our door yesterday! We hooked it up, and it is very fast! We also had a little money left over, and I was able to get a flat screen too, at a really low price! It should be here soon. Now, it took most of yesterday, for allthe windows updates to load on here, and I did bring all the cleaning tools over to the new puter. They really make a huge difference here, on the new puter! With todays economy, we all could use lessons in being FRUGAL! I wonder if they teach that in school?
