CLASS OF 69

It was a very good year. I hope I haven't missed any reunions.
I really want to visit home soon and maybe hookup for lunch or whatever with some of you guys.
Hey, You other New Yorker? When and where did you live in Upstate?
I have live in Rochester, Ithaca, Cortland, finally Elmira. Ithaca is my dream come true..I might go back there some day FOREVER !!!
I am only 30 min away & go everytime I can.. Going tomorrow after lunch. I only work half a day. I have lived in "The Southern Tier" "The Western Tier" and I suppose to be correct I live in the Twin Tiers located in the Souther Tier. It's a hoot when people ask me about my accent, I love to tell them I live in Southern New York, Most just don't get the lingo. It is kinda goofy.
Tell all, Please.....

I lived in the Hudson Valley, Marlboro, Milton, and finally settled in Ellenville NY. Not quite as upstate as you, but we still had the snow to deal with. I had a 32 mile commute, one way to work in Kingston NY. I miss the beautiful fall up there, but not the snow.

The lingo thingy, I would pick up a northern accent when at work, but as soon as I talked with relatives here, I slipped right back into that southern drawl.
